LAY-AWAY PLAN (For purchases at least 500Php)

What is LAY-AWAY PLAN?

            A purchasing method that allows a consumer to put a product on hold by placing a deposit on the item. Layaway allows the customer to make smaller payments on the product until the purchase price is paid in full, rather than paying for the item with credit and adding interest to the cost. A layaway plan ensures that the chosen merchandise will be in stock and ready for pick-up when the final payment is made. (Investopedia.com)

HOW DOES IT WORK?

1. Shop around for everything that you would like (any of our products qualify except PRE-ORDER Products). Purchase a minimum of P500 after sales or discounts and proceed to LAY-AWAY ORDER FORM above. You will be charged 30% of your order total as your first payment.
2. Depending on the payment time schedule you select your subsequent payments will be charged accordingly.
3. Once everything has been paid in full, we will ship your order. You can pay earlier than the scheduled time if you want, just contact us and we'll adjust the payment schedule to suit your needs (no longer than stated, only sooner).

LAY-AWAY PLAN TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. There is a Minimum P500 order total for using our Layaway Plan.
2. A thirty percent (30%) deposit is required as a down payment on all layaway purchases, ie. your first payment will be 30% of your order total. For example: if your order total is P500, the first charge to you will be P150 at the time of the order.
3. We will hold your layaway until the order is paid for and it will ship in its entirety upon completion of payments.
4. The remaining balance will be broken into equal amounts and charged as you select on our layaway form ie. Weekly, Bi-Weekly, Monthly, Bi-monthly etc. For example: if your order total is P500, the first payment charged is P150 and the remaining balance is P350. This will be broken into 2 remaining payments of P175 each, paid weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or bi-monthly, however you choose. If you wish to break up your payments into smaller increments, just send us an e-mail or SMS request after submitting your form and we will adjust accordingly.
5. There are no interest or other charges for using our layaway plan; you only make payments towards the total order amount of your purchase. You are dealing with us directly, no third party or other processing services.
6. You may cancel your layaway at anytime, however, the first payment is non-refundable. Items purchased on our layaway plan can be exchanged for other products.
7. Discounts and sales prices apply to products purchased through our layaway program but you must meet the minimum order total in order to use layaway. ie. Even if an item is on sale or you apply a promotional code, your order must be P500 or more after that to use layaway.
8. Your layaway contract must be filled and submitted. Once you hit submit, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions.
9. We will notify you via email when your payment and contract is received by us. You will receive a confirmation e-mail and sales receipt with your deposit and payments outlined, the products purchased, the dates charges will be applied.

*Cleo’s Style and Trinkets shall be not liable for any loss, damage, delay, misdelivery, nondelivery not caused by its own negligence, or for any loss, damage, delay, misdelivery or non-delivery caused by:

1. The act, default or omission the shipper or consignee or any other party who claims an interest in the shipment.
2. The nature of the shipment or any defect, characteristic, or inherent vice thereof. - violation by the shipper or consignee of any term or condition stated herein including, but not limited to, improper or insufficient packing, securing, marking or addressing, misdescribing the contents of any shipment or failure to observe any of these rules relating to the shipments not acceptable for transportation whether such rules are now or hereafter promulgated by Cleo’s Style and Trinkets.
3. Acts of God, perils of the air, enemies, public authorities acting with actual or apparent authority or law, acts or omission of postal, customs or other government officials, riots, strikes, or other local disputes, hazard incidents to a state of war, weather conditions, temperature or atmospheric changes or conditions, mechanical or other delay, of any aircraft used in providing transportation services or any other cause reasonably beyond the control of Cleo’s Style and Trinkets.
4.  Acts or omissions of any postal service, forwarder, or any other entity to whom a shipment is tendered by Cleo’s Style and Trinkets for transportation, regardless of whether the shipper requested or had knowledge of such third party delivery requirement.

*While Cleo’s Style and Trinkets will endeavor to exercise its best efforts to provide expeditious delivery in accordance with regular delivery schedules, Cleo’s Style and Trinkets will not under any circumstances be liable for delay in pickup, transportation or delivery of any shipment regardless of the causes of such delay

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Customer MUST submit an order form in order for their request to be processed. Once submitted, all orders are considered FINAL.
2. A notification shall be sent to the customer once Cleo’s Style and Trinkets has received the order. If a confirmation message is not received within 24 hours please send a follow-up message.
3. We will reserve your items for you until payment is made.
4. Reservation is strictly for 2 days; payment must be made within such period (if need extension, please do contact us immediately. Payment extension will only be granted in cases where there is clear evidence of “impossibility to pay” e.g. force majeure (Acts of God), war, etc.)
5. If payment in full is not received within 2 days, the order is considered cancelled. In addition to that, your profile will be posted in the BOGUS BUYERS section of this page.
6. Cleo’s Style and Trinkets warrants the items to be free from defects in materials once shipment is made; thus, we follow NO RETURN, NO EXCHANGE POLICY unless the goods turn out to have latent/hidden defects which could not be easily detected.
7. After customers receive their item(s), they should inspect the product thoroughly, as we will be accepting complaints within 5 days from shipment and in “as is” condition. (NO RETURN, NO EXCHANGE POLICY if customers want to return the goods because of a change of mind.)
